Detail view is opening instead of grid view in Details master form

I created a form with details master pattern,  set the menu item form view property to grid , form is opening with detail view. Tried to set form view property to auto still not working. Please suggest me a solution.

    Hi Vidhi,

    Have you double check that you are mapping the correct menu item in the menus?

    Is that form is designed based on the form pattern?

    On the menu item - Form view option property to be grid - That you have already done that.

    You can refer to the standard HcmWorker and PayrollEarningStatement form.

    Can you show us the screenshot of the form design from visual studio?

    Yes I'm mapping correct menu item. I'm able to go to grid view after clicking on form name in details tab but , every time I reopen it directly details tab is populating

    Also please confirm that Navigation group which contains grid should be followed by Details tab.

    Form pattern seems correct.

    Please refers to standard form like CustTable and HcmPostion which follows same patterns as yours.

    Compare the properties of each form control on standard form pattern with yours and check whether you have missed some of the properties.

    Also check, if there are no records in the form - Try creating new record on the form - reopen the form again and check whether it's opening the grid view.

    Thanks for all your responses Girish.

    In my case refresh(), reread() and research() methods called on run method of form was causing problem.
