Hi all,
In warehouse outbound process, if work is created for 25 qty. I cancel 5 qty with cancel work line option. When I go the sales order, all 25 qty are still reserved even after cancelling work line.
What will happen to the 5 qty that were not shipped?

Hi Anurag Nagarkoti,
Cancellation of work line means warehouse staff has decided to do a short picking for some business reason but that does not mean Dynamics will un reserve the cancelled quantity on sales order.
The cancelled quantity can again be released again later and a new work will be created for the same.
Consider this
Sales order for item D for 110 pcs
release to warehouse
WORK 07 created for 110 pcs
Now you cancel pick line for 40 pcs
WORK 07 is now for 70 pcs
Go back to sales order and release again
New work with work ID WORK 11 will be created for 40 pcs.
Work line quantity cancellation and reservation and not related in anyway and its correct.
