Email rejects and/or log file

We have a customer that is starting to use the GP email functionality to email sales documents.  They'll be emailing several large batches per day.  What happens if a customer has an incorrect email address?  Will GP generate a log file or report somehow which documents did not get emailed?

    Not quite sure on that one, but I thought I saw something in the 2013 RU2 version that would do that, anyone out there who can remember if that will be possible.  Thought it was one of the add ons.  Just took a look and don't see that out there but will check my convergence notes.

    Thank you.  That's what they'll do then.

    I have another question.  They have hundreds of transactions in one batch.  Not all customers in that batch have email addresses.  If they check both boxes to Print AND email, can they get printed copies only for those customers without email addresses?

    Usually you setup an e-mail address for your company and then monitor or have a user in your AR dept who monitors any e-mail that comes into that address.  If you have an incorrect address it is going to bounce back into your e-mail and let you know that it can't be sent.  GP will only let you know if there was no e-mail address available for a customer (exception report).

    Once you get the e-mail bounce back, you can correct the e-mail and individually resend to the correct address.  At least that is what I've seen done in the past.
