how to update voucher date on vendor payment journal

I have an issue where on a few "vendor Payments" I am unable to update the voucher dates. I am able to update on a few payments but not on some. Any idea what is causing this and why I am unable to update the voucher date?

    Hi Ann,

    By voucher date, i hope you mean transaction date. What may be stopping you from changing that date is if payment has been sent. If this doesn't help you, do you mind sharing some screenshots.
