Get Real-time journey data in PowerBI

I am able to access Outbound Marketing data in PowerBI using Dataverse and Azure Storage Blobs. Can I also access Real Time Marketing data from PowerBI ?

Hi,

We analyzed your needs and according to the official documentation, you can use the Dynamics 365 Customer Insights connector to bring in real-time data.

Hi Rudy,

Thanks for you response, but using this connector in PowerBI isnt fetching any data. I dont see any tables or environments to connect to.

Do I need to setup something in Customer Insights/Dynamics for me to expose RTM data to PowerBI ?

Also curious if there are any news on this topic.

Based on the roadmap there should be a possiblity available by now:

Build custom reports using Microsoft Fabric integration | Microsoft Learn

But i do not find any documentation on how to enable/use the feature.

Hi,

is there any update about the topic, that is retrieve Real Time Marketing data in Power BI?

As Dennis said, there is something explained at this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/release-plan/2023wave2/marketing/dynamics365-marketing/effortlessly-build-custom-reports-tailored-business-needs-using-fabric-integration but I can't find any further documentation.

I also tried to follow Rudy's method (using "Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (Beta)" connector), but I can't see any tables or environments to connect to (I'm loggin in with the same credentials of D365 customer insights journey, of course).

Any suggest will be appreciate.

Hi Rudy Zhang,
In the article you linked to (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-insights/data/real-time-data-ingestion), it states:

Limitations: "Exporting real-time updates to external systems, like Power BI, is not possible."

Given this limitation, how can we access behavioral data from Customer Insights - Journey in Power BI?
With Outbound, we used Blob storage, but this isn't available with Real Time.

We've created an integration between Fabric and Customer Insights - Journey, which is easy to use but has high license costs. We're currently assisting an NGO and need to update existing Power BI reports with behavioral data from Customer Insights - Journey.
Any advice or solutions?

Rudy,

The Customer Insights Connector is not showing any tables. Is there a work around? Im having the same challenge trying to access the MS D365 Marketing -Real Time data specifically need to get info on SMS campaign interactions, sent, clicked links, keywords etc. Amy help would be greatly appreciated.
