Hi D365 Experts,

I am a functional consultant for Dynamics 365 but we have received some queries from customers who want to run D365 Finance and Operations (Or D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management) on a privately hosted cloud.

I know that support for on-premise deployments of D365 is being deprecated so I was just wondering if the scenario above would fall into the same category as on-prem, or if D365 on Private cloud is still a viable option for clients?

Hi Liese,

I understand, many customer may have this type of questions. But there is no news if Microsoft coming back to on prem any time sooner. However there are still some feasibility with private on cloud infra.

I would suggest to raise this directly with your account manager with Microsoft or fast track solution architect, who can provide you more accurate details.
