Could be restored the button / Update/ that has been replaced with /Advanced Filtering/ in version 10.0.39 from Accounting Source Explorer in D365 F&O?
Point is that the new feature do not include the periods from P1 to P12 like in the screenshot below.
I am aware that in "Date" filed we could search by dates for example 26/03/2023..22/04/2023 but as per Finance Team this is a fiscal calendar and they want the Financial Calendar.
So Business insist the feature with Update button to be restored.
If not, then the request is some how through join tables to be added the column for periods if possible.
Thanks
Pavle

Hi, As Ramit said, due to version updates, the update function has been redesigned and replaced with a more powerful one and is set to be required on version 10.0.39. If you are using version 10.0.39, you can only use advanced filtering. If you really want to use update, you may consider custom development. But if there is no mandatory business requirement, follow the version updates for new features.Accounting source explorer - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn Best Regards, Hana

As of in Microsoft Dynamics 365 version 10.0.36, aAccounting source explorer advanced filteringfeature is available inFeature managementand will be set to mandatory in version 10.0.39. This feature replaces theUpdatebutton and provides a more robust advanced query experience that resembles what is available on theVoucher transactionspage. The advanced filter lets you filter on fields such asLedger account,Business unit,Cost center, andDepartment.
The above is from MS documentation and answers your question.
