Hello,
I started using VisualStudio 2019 and developing in D365. In my search for a tool to make uml diagrams of certain entities (tables), I have found XrmToolbox and the add-in "https://github.com/noakesey/d365fo-entity-schema" in which it asks to download a Dll file and put it in a VS folder.
Are these applications and addons safe for the client (credentials, data, etc...)? To what extent can we verify it?
I am a newbie to d365 but installing these files reminds me of pressing a red button.
Are there alternatives?
Thanks.
Hi,
XrmToolbox is not available for entities in F&O database? The addin from the github I posted is pretty new and I found only a few comments about it. That is the reason for my skepticism.
My main goal is to get a better understanding of the standard relationships between entities.
It depends on which product it is about. The tool Eisenberk mentioned is for F&O; the answer by Bipin about CRM/Dataverse.
Ideally, questions should be asked in more specific forums and if none is suitable, it's important to explain which app or apps the question refers to.
Hi,
You only need to install plugin inside xrmtoolbox
learn.microsoft.com/.../use-metadata-generate-entity-diagrams
And this tool is safe for use and it has been used by 90% developer
