How to reset financial reporting DataMart on a Sandbox Tier 2 environment?

Hello,

We are experiencing  some problems since our last data migration on our Sandbox Tier 2 environment.

When opening MR it says:

When closing the MR it says

I know there are several options to reset the datamart ( as we assume this might fix our issue ), but as I don't have write privileges to MR database, I can't restore the Mart in SQL.

Also we cannot reset it in management reporter.

Do we have to log a service request? Or is there another way to reset the datamart on a Tier 2 environment?

Thanks you for your help.

Kind regards

Mathieu

    Hi,

You can try to reset it via PowerShell.

I am aware of this possibility, but as I cannot logon the the environment I cannot execute the script right?

My Sandbox does not allow me to connect to the server and run Powershell scripts there:

    Hi,

Is it a self-service environment? If yes, in this case, you probably need to create a ticket to MS.

    Hi, Mathieu

For self service project, customer is able to request JIT access to SQL.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/deployment/deploymentfaq#access-the-azure-sql-database

    Step 1:Submit proper access request

Step 2: Then LCS will confirm request is received

Step3: Find SQL login and password

Step4: whitelist your client public IP

    Hello rabbitt1986,

Do you have a system admin colleague who could reset the data mart for you?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
