after merging the sitemap it's not getting imported.

Hello Alli have merge the sitemap using winmerge tool.

while importing the same solution into the crm it throwing an error.

below log file is generated. can anyone help me resolve this.

    WinMerge tool wouldn't work for the sitemaps.

    From the exception, I can see "'There is a duplicate key sequence 'Extensions' for the 'GroupIdMustBeUnique' key or unique identity constraint.'."

    So, read both sitemaps manually and do the merger manually. Thanks.

    There are two sitemaps.

    one from production and one from dev.

    so i want to merge both in the single .

    as per above error , how can i decide the uniqueness in both the scenario.

    One more thing in the production the custom entity is displayed on the sales area,

    but the same custom entity when bring in solution and imported to dev environement but in the customization it's not showing any option selected such that the entity is shown on the sales area.

    why this has happend don't know.

    Hi,

    You can manually merge these two sitemaps in Visual studio and can utilize xml schema from SDK to validate your sitemap xml.

    Why are you merging two sitempas. Best way will be to update it in Dev first and add all the entities and then proceed to production.

    Search for Extensions in the xml. In each Area tag there can be only one unique group id.

    Remove the duplicate Extensions Groups or rename them.
