Budget model not integrated into the cashflow forecast

Hello,

I'am trying to include some budgeted entries in to the cashflow forecast such as payroll outflows, and after all the set up is done, there are still no entries available in cashflow for that budget model.

Does anyone know if I'm missing some other set up?

Hi,

Can you check two things:

1.) Whether adding account 600300 to the 'liquidity accounts' in the General Ledger tab makes a difference

2.) Whether you hit the 'calculate cash flow forecast' button and started the calculation process in the reporting tab

Thanks Ludwig,

I did both tests and still nothing.

Either its a set up, and there is missing information in MS Docs, or its a bug because it looks likes, only AR AP transactions are connected in all cashflow Power BI.

Hi,

I did the following:

1. Setup (=> please note the linked account)

2. register Budget entry

3. result

can you try to replicate this in your System?

You are a genius !! that worked.

Now the only point missing for me is to see those lines in the workspace for cashflow.

Hi Veronika,

Try SystemAdmin-Setup-Entity Store and refresh the different measures by hitting refresh. It might take a while (10-20 min) but it should refresh the workspace.

Not sure which measure you have to refresh exactly. Try the ones starting with financial... first

Technically it is supposed to be LedgerCovLiquidityMeasurement store for the cashflow. That's what is said in MS docs.

I selected them all and refreshed. Power BI report is not grabbing it.

I will keep looking.

Were you able to get the desired main accounts in Cash flow forecast based on Budget setup? Or does it needs any additional setup either at functional level or technical level?

No I was never able to update the PowerBI Embedded dashboards.

I believe a technical input is mandatory in order to achieve what I need.
