Hi,

If someone can assist with a Dynamic 365 online question. How can we achieve multi-tenancy or multi-instance which would allow us to have 2 separate ERP systems in Dynamics 365? Our company functions in 2 different countries so we would like to divide our Dynamics between these 2 locations.

    Hi,

You can purchase more than one instance of Dynamics 365 through your account. You can use these additional instances to create department-specific solutions or to develop and test customizations.

For a multi-tenant deployment, you'll need a Multi-Tenant Amendment. A Multi-Tenant Amendment is an actual amendment to the Volume License agreement used to purchase licenses. Contact your Microsoft Sales Representative or Reseller to obtain the amendment. Refer here for details of multi-tenant solution: technet.microsoft.com/.../dn722373.aspx

    Hi Zuzana,

I assume the question is about Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Business Edition?

In this case we don't yet have ability to purchase additional instances (in other countries) which you may know from Dynamics 365 for Sales, neither we use Volume License agreement for this version of the product.

We create only one instance of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations per organization (AAD tenant) and that instance is running the application matching the country of your organization (you can see which country it is on the Organization Information page in y our Office 365 Admin portal https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home#/companyprofile)

    Kind regards,

    Dmitry
