If this is Signature, there is a licence application which needs to be installed on the SQL Server. The licence key is entered into this.
Registration for modules is often found in the Administration tab, then under either of Routines or Utilities.
In some cases I have found them under the System Setup.
It depends upon the 3rd Party developer. I would suggest having a look at the installation guide and see where they tell you in the documentation that comes with the software.
If you can not find it on the Dynamics Screens and not in the user manual, then you might try connecting with the support site for the developer and posting a question to their site.
Wennsoft has such a site and it very good at communicating with users that have issues like this.
