Can't reference 'file' field in power automate to attach a file

Hi,

I created a custom entity with a field of 'file' type.  I attached the filed to the main form and have published the changes.  I want to create a power automate flow that will automatically attach a PDF/Word document to that field whenever the flow is triggered.

My problem is when I use the Update a row connector, my 'file' field is not listed.  Any ideas on how I can make this happen?  I've tried recreating the flow and the 'file' field still does not appear for me to update.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

You can not directly reference the column from Dynamic content.

You need to follow below article to get the content from file type field.
