I have a client who is heavily invested in RMS, with multiple stores running through RMS Headquarters. They're not going to be leaving it anytime soon.
They are planning on opening a new retail store in October, probably with 2 or 3 registers. They don't for certain how many registers they will have, or even if the October date is a certainty or if it will change.
They will need to obtain an RMS Headquarters Client license, and will need a POS license for each register.
I know mainstream support ends in July 2016, but can businesses still purchase RMS after that date?
What is the drop-dead date after which Microsoft will no longer issue new RMS license keys?

Hello Bill,
Thank you for your question.
As long as they are an existing RMS customer prior to the end of Mainstream Support in July of this year and they have an active support plan, they can purchase additional licenses for both Store Operations and Headquarters until the end of life in July 2012.
Thank you,

Here's information what I got so far, if a customer is still on BREP or BRAP plan, they can still purchase the licenses after EOL till 2021.
Make sure they need to keep up with BREP or BRAP.
Anyone have different information other than keep up with BREP or BRAP?
