I have tried everything to resolve this error when trying to add health insurance to and employee.  I have run the reconcile.  I have assign all the health codes to all the employees.  i have made sure there is a benefit and deduction code for every insurance type.   What am I missing???

Look through the Setup > Human Resources >Benefits & Deductions >Health Insurance.  Be sure all required fields are filled in on each code at the setup level.

Then, in Cards >Human Resources >Employee Benefits, look in each of the 4 types of windows and hit >Benefits GoTo >Incompletes.  Double-click each record listed in there and go through the process of saving every window all the way through the payroll side.

I am having the same problem, where do I need to go to see the incompletes?

You can look for incompletes at the Setup Level and at the Employee Level.

For the Setup level, >Human Resources & Payroll >Setup >Human Resources >Benefits & Deductions >Health Insurance. Then click on Benefits (GoTo) button at the top, and choose Incompletes.  Double-click on any that show in the scrolling window, and be sure to fill in any required fields that are blank, and Save through every window that opens. Do this also for

    >Human Resources & Payroll >Setup >Human Resources >Benefits & Deductions >Miscellaneous Benefits

    >Human Resources & Payroll >Setup >Human Resources >Benefits & Deductions >Retirement Plans

    >Human Resources & Payroll >Setup >Human Resources >Benefits & Deductions >Life Insurance

Do the same thing at the Employee level:

    >Human Resources & Payroll >Cards >Human Resources >Employee-Benefits >Health Insurance

    >Human Resources & Payroll >Cards >Human Resources >Employee-Benefits >Life Insurance

    >Human Resources & Payroll >Cards >Human Resources >Employee-Benefits >Retirement Plans

    >Human Resources & Payroll >Cards >Human Resources >Employee-Benefits >Miscellaneous Benefits

I now have the same issue with a different client.  i am on GP2013 and there is no go to on the deduction/benefit codes for either setup or employee enrollment.  i have run reconcile on both the Benefit setup and enrollment.  I know I classified the code that is noted on the error edit list.   How do i make it stop??

    Hi Brenda,

Do you have the User Setup window marked for your user to get the "Payroll View".  (Checkbox in >Administration >Setup >System >User, pull up your user)

I have updated the user setup to include the Payroll view for HR but I am still getting the error.
