I am using Attendance in HR for accruing time.
I am entering a transaction in Payroll Transaction Entry.
I am entering a line with a code that is a pay code tied to a time code in Attendance.
I am getting a message:
You can't enter transactions for a date that isn't within an accrual period.
I did find a TK article but it is referring to V 8.0 and 9.0
I did try following the advice though and I 'thought' I had it setup correctly but I am still getting the error.
I setup each of the time buckets (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.) for the previous, current and next year. My payroll processing is bi-weekly.
Several questions:
They are on a fiscal year - but the year in the Accrual Schedule would be the calendar year - wouldn't it ?
Also - why is there a 27th period showing in the bi-weekly setup. Do I need to have something there ? What would it be ?
Thanks - any input would be appreciated

u must review ur Accrual Setup again. regarding the requaired date.
ur date is not in ur accrual periodssss
Mine turned out to be a problem with the Time Code setup.
I have had problems where I had to setup accrual periods that I did not expect to setup but now I am not sure since I had a problem on my time code setup (incorrect frequency). Doubt that is your problem but you may want to double check it
I have the same problem. It seems to have started once the pay period included 2009.
Have you been able to figure out a solution yet?
Thanks.
