Hi All,

I am trying to "Bank Statement Header" date entity to BYOD database, but getting the error below.

"Export execution failed for entity Bank statement header: Export failed while copying data from target to staging:"

Please advice how we can resolve this issue.

Regards,
Akbar

    Hello,

Have you tried Skip staging ?

    Hi Akbar,

Can you find some more detailed logs on the entity execution history? Is this a fully standard data entity or is there any customization involved?

    Hi Andre,

I found the below details in execution history. Do we need to delete these related records from staging?

This is the standard data entity.

    Hi Akbar,

It is hard to tell as I haven't seen this or a similar issue before when exporting to BYOD. Is this a customized data entity? Can you check the indexes on the staging table? Is there any index that prevents duplicate records based on one field in the staging table or a set of fields?

    Hi Akbar,

    A few questions:
    1. Are you trying this in a Sandbox like UAT or a lower environment or is this in a Production instance?
    2. Is this the first time the BYOD export has been triggered in the environment (Sandbox or Production) where this issue is showing up?
    3. is this an incremental push or a full push that you are triggering from D365 to BYOD?

    Suggestions:
    1. If you are doing a BYOD export from a lower environment then would recommend publishing the tables after enabling change tracking on the entire entity. The reason is BYOD is unable to identify entities refreshed from higher to lower environments and re-publishing the entities also refreshes the change tracking id (if applicable for this data entity, in this scenario).

    2. If this is a production instance, then the best recommendation is export the data onto a standard csv file and check if there are any duplicates or white spaces or any kind of duplicate data in the entity that's flowing through from D365.

Hope this helps. Happy to answer questions, if any.

    Hey Akbar,

Could you please try this option -
    1. Go to Data Management > Data Entities
    2. Select the Bank Statement Header entity.
    3. Ensure Change Tracking is Enabled.
    4. Click Publish to database again.
Note: If re-publishing alone doesn’t fix it, clear the staging table records or inspect schema constraints via SQL. Entities sometimes cache previous export states.

If this helped, please mark it as "Verified" for others facing the same issue.
Keep in mind that it is possible to mark more than one answer as verified.
