Customer Engagement on-prem v 9.1
When selecting a few opportunities and then clicking "Edit", the following error appears.
Editing a single opportunity works fine.

How do we fix this?

Happens is all browsers even if cache is cleared
Only happens with Opportunities.  Other entities are OK
All users are getting the error
Happens whether you're editing 2 or 20 opportunities

    Hello,

This kind of error happens when you have the same label for more than one field on the view that you are using.
Try remove one of the equal fields and then it´s going to work.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache or checking any custom scripts on your form? This simple tip can help you improve.

    • Is this happening in all browsers, or does a browser cache clear help at all?
    • Is this happening when you try to bulk edit on any other tables?
    • Do all users experience the error?
    • Does it happen whether you are updating 2 or 20 opportunities, or only once you get over a certain threshold?

When you do a bulk edit, the system will typically open a blank version of your form that allows you to enter information which will then be updated on all selected records. My guess is that there is something in this form that is corrupted or causing an issue. This would particularly be the case if you can bulk edit on other tables without encountering the same issue.

I would recommend checking and removing any JavaScript, Custom PCF controls, or other items from your Opportunity form one by one to see if you can identify what might be causing the problem. If you do not have any of the above, or if other tables are giving you the same issue, then a support ticket into Microsoft might be beneficial for them to diagnose it further.
