D365- F&O- Preview part ref- how can we make this form part editable.

Hi,

I'm using D365 F&O and have created a new work space. In the tabbed list section, i've used a custom display menu item for preview part ref. This function helps me to show a custom form when i hover over a record in tabbed list.

However, I'm unable to make the form editable which appears on hover(display menu item added on preview part ref.). Do you know if this is even possible or am i at a dead-end?

Any help on the same would be highly appreciable. Let me know if i was unable to express myself here.

PS- i achieved this custom workspace by duplicating the workspace - Purchase order preparation workspace.

Thanks,

Nikunj

    Hi again,

changing the form type to simple details and setting the field view mode property(in form design grid) to edit worked for me.
