    Hi,

I do not think there is a pre-defined role that includes the SafePay items. You'll likely need to create your own task and role for these items. The windows are in the Safe Pay product in the 3rd Party Series.

    Leslie is correct.

Out of the box, there is no security tasks or roles for SafePay.

You'll have to create your own tasks and assign them either to an existing role or create a specific one (which I'd recommend to avoid confusion).

There are not just 'windows' resources, but also 'reports'.. don't forget them in your security Task setup.

Leslie, I do think that there is a security role that enables/disables a user from using it.

If I remove "POWERUSER" form the user then the user is not able to use SafePay and that's an indication of a permission that is embedded in to POWERUSER which could also be added separately.

    Hi Jehan,

As per my previous reply, you need to create your own set of Tasks & Security Roles in GP to manage the access to the SafePay resources for regular users.

Go under :  Administration >> Setup >> System >> Security Tasks

Create 2 new security tasks (see below), one for the regular end-user, and one for the Admin to do the setup.

The normal user will only have a limited set of the Forms & Reports, whereas the Admin task will have all checked.

Once created, assign those Tasks to an existing security role, or better, create 2 new security Roles in GP (user & admin) and assign them to the users.

Thanks for this - sometimes forget SafePay is under 3rd party.  Has been part of GP for so long that I think I should find it under Microsoft Dynamics GP.
