Our business trades a significant volume in a B2B relationship. I have configured Direct delivery, we have a single DD warehouse configured where all B2B trading passes through,
I am trying to improve the order date accuracy between ship and delivery dates. I am also using CTP as I believe this gives best results in our configuration.
Supplier lead times are set up in the Default order settings. So when I create an order, at the item level in the order I see the estimated availability date for the item based on the supplier lead time. (e.g. 28 days).
I am also configuring the transport lead time. Again for example we will have 5 day delivery. Here I am using the DD warehouse to Country and transport mode to set the additional delivery time between ship and delivery date.
However this does not work on my sales order. I see at the line level the item has 28 days from today to ship date, however the order header level has the 5 days for the transport from today.
I need the transport to be added to the item lead time, not at the order level.
Am I missing something fundamental here please?
