I am looking for sales report by month and by register that are not 80 pages something simple. not sure how to do this.

The simplest way for this would be to use a detailed Sales Report and filter it for the time frame and register you wish. Then you can collapse the columns to make it only 1 page.
Otherwise, you can look on the reports library on Customer Source.
