Hi All,

I have Four departments:

  1. Root Business Unit
    1. Sales
    2. Marketing
    3. Service
  2. I have an entity Test

Scenario:

  1. A Test record created in Sales Department by user Ali
    1. User Ali is only able to create, write, read its own test records in a Sales Department. This security is applied with the help of security role Test User.
    2. There is a Sales Manager Kashif in Sales Department which is only able to read all test records in a Sales Department only. This security is applied with the help of security role Read Department Test.
  2. Service related is a lookup field on Test entity.
    1. If Service Related is Yes than user in a Service Department can also able to see this Test record. How this implement in a CRM?
    2. If Service Related is No than user in a Service Department not able to see this Test record. How this implement in a CRM?
  3. If I change Ali's business unit from Sales Department to Marketing Department.
    1. Now I want to show to Ali all its Test records that he owns in a Sales Department with the same privileges that he has in a Sales Department. How this implement in a CRM?
    2. I also want show all these Test records to Kashif as he saw when Ali in Sales Department. How this implement in a CRM?

Thanks

Regards,

Abdul Wahab

Instead of BU you should have Teams within the same BU and the records should be owned by respectively teams based on your need/logic.

Add the users to the appropriate team(s), Assign security role to the team - this should work nicely.
