Below is the print screen of my project: I plan to make connection between Opportunity Axgridview to toolbar web part, in order for me to create a connection I need to send AxContextList to Toolbar, so my 1st step is to setup (SmmOpportunityGridlist) by edit>modify share web part and set properties as below. But error come up each time I'm trying to make connection, I hope anyone could guide me on these.

    You need to setup the connection on your toolbar web control, not as you show in the screenshot (where you set the grid connection to itself). Just go and edit the connections setting on your toolbar, set it as Role Consumer and select your grid as the item to getContextFrom.

    Sir, currently in my toolbar I couldn't set the role to Consumer :

    Inside toolbar Modified share webpart : only have Web menu of selection,appearance layout and advance

    community.dynamics.com/.../151741.aspx ( my toolbar issue)

    I think the toolbar it self have issue, because I couldn't make a new opportunity either.

    Sir, Dynamic Toolbar Webpart>Edit>Modified share webpart: WEB MENU. Is it possible to find Customer file inside the web menu? and plan to edit/modify and make something similar with it and just change link and everything in to Opportunity.  If it possible where can I find location of each toolbar Web Menu file.

    Yes, you are right, the toolbar can only be a consumer. This is what I can set when I select the toolbar and go to Edit  -> Connections ...

    If you select your toolbar web control do you get the same connection or nothing is setup?

    Also, I am not sure what you are referring to when you say if it's possible to find the Customer file? Are you saying you're thinking of replicating the functionality behind the toolbar existing on the Customer main page?

    Basically sir, for the Dynamic Toolbar Webpart I have set to (smmOpportunity) and need to make connection to GetAxContextList From>Opportunity List , but this happened if I connecting it ( as a below picture ).

    Because I couldn't fix it I plan to create a new Dynamic Toolbar Webpart by referring Customer toolbar (My Customer: Dynamic Toolbar Webpart Working fine on connection of executing for edit/add new customer), Is it possible sir? or if have another around to solve the issue. Below picture is what happen if I create a new Opportunity.

    I really hope sir, you could guide me on this issue and thank you sir for your time I really appreciate it.

    No, that would not work - referencing another toolbar; the Customer web menu (toolbar) points to other web menu items, so that would not work to get it in your Opportunity pages.

    But, I am not sure why your Opportunity web menu (toolbar) doesn't work, and that is what you need to focus on.

    I would say, to retrace your steps on what was done and determine what went wrong.

    Can you try this:

    1. export your current smmOpportunity web menu and delete it from the current layer (so it reverts back to the standard menu);

    2. go to the smmOpportunities web page and do a Deploy Page;

    3. in EP do a Refresh AOD;

    4. try to create a New opportunity now;

    Let me know if it still fails.

    Also, have you changed anything in the smmOpportunityListGrid web control, or it's underlying DataSet object?

    RE: Ax2009: The connection point "RowConsumer" does not allow multiple connections how to solve it?

    1) I have recreated the SmmOpportunity Web Menu (ToolBar) and now I already can make NEW OPPORTUNITY & EDIT OPPORTUNITY in EP. Now the existing issue, about the connection still remaining the same, I still couldn't make connection between smmopportunityListGrid(Provider:Opportunity List) to SmmOpportunity(Consumer: Toolbar).

    2) Yes sir, I have made minor changes on SmmOpportunityListGrid Web Control by added new column, using Dynamic Ax web project and insert the edited SmmOpportunityListGrid.ascx to EP LAYOUT location inside the server.
