Is the "Master" company definition no longer exists?

Hello,

I am new to Business Central, used to work with Navision.

Has the concept changed and there is no Master company?

How will I control items creation from all companies and unified the catalog?

Thanks,

Efrat

To my knowledge, there has never been such functionality, in standard NAV and also not in standard Business Central. You must have been working on a customized solution or add-on.

So to answer your question, you will need to look for an existing solution on AppSource (appsource.microsoft.com/.../marketplace ), or develop one, or look for a partner that has developed one as a per tenant customization.

There's also an idea you can vote for:

there is no master company in Navision, unless you customize it. by default, any data is specific only for that company.
