Deleting an address deletes the address on invoices

So when I’m attempting to delete a customer address ID, and later attempting to print an invoice which used this address, the address is blank. Is there a way to circumvent this issue? There are certain addresses I would like to clean up since they’re not longer used or mistakenly input in the first place. DinarRecaps.com

If I remember correctly it is the shipping address information that is kept in the sales history tables. So if you talking those addresses you can delete them. However if you are talking about the bill to address information you cannot delete those address IDs as they come from the customer address master table.
