In the help for Route Group Automatic Consumption it appears that you can use shop floor and automatic posting of consumption to prevent too little consumption of labor and setup.
I have set the Route Group to auto consume setup and process labor and then post some of the transactions in shop floor. Setup is not jobbed onto in shop floor but process is jobbed onto for 10 minutes. I process the shop floor process transaction and no job card journal is created. I then RAF the order with Route Card set to Route Group Dependent and Picking to Flushing Principle.
The result is setup is there in a Route Card Journal, process is in the Route Card Journal but 0. The job card journal posts for the process with the good quantity but the started time and end time are the same with the operation marked as closed.
My expectation would have been that the missing entries such as Setup would post as estimated and the shop floor transaction in the job card journal would have the actual shop floor runtime not 0.
Any idea of how to get "auto consumption" to fill in the blanks.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
Konrad
