Hello ,

business central Saas- if lets say i create a extension of item  list page which defines the sequence of some field. and i deploy the extension in BC saas .

now.  when i use personalization(setting-personalize)  and move some field on item list and then done (save) which i need  in my personal sequence, now when i reopen the page , it shows me the one which i define in my extension not the one which i personalize.

if i delete the page extension than it shows the default fields sequence on item list page.

but this should be like if i use personalize i should be able to make field sequence as per my choice!

can anybody check that it happened to you as well ?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

    I ran the scenario in a standard onprem environment. Here I am not able to reproduce.

    Repro:

    1. design a page

    2. download code

    pageextension 50000 PageExtension50000 extends "Customer List"

    {

       layout

       {

           addafter(Name)

           {

               field("Base Calendar Code41146";Rec."Base Calendar Code")

               {

                   ApplicationArea = All;

               }

           }

       }

    }

    3. open customer list, personalize by adding a field (Customer Posting Group)

    4. move field around, etc.

    Reopen page:

    1. the two fields are shown in correct sequence

    2. uninstall extension

    3. the personalized field is still there

    Thanks.

    Thanks for sharing your view.

    till point 2. it is Ok,

    at point 3.  open customer list, personalize by adding a field (Customer Posting Group)

    ---> add this field between name and Base Calendar Code through personalize then save and reopen the page customer list page.

    then look at what you see at  sequence -1. name 2. Base Calendar Code 3. Customer posting group

    OR

    1. name 2 Customer posting group 3. Base Calendar Code

    OR

    something else.

    logically it should be 1. name 2 Customer posting group 3. Base Calendar Code (Which I am not having) it reshuffle as per extension sequence which is 1. name  2. Base Calendar Code

    please share how you go...

    Hello,

    If this is still an issue, feel free to raise it to Microsoft support so we can deep dive into it.

    Thanks.
