Journal voucher - Invoice journal - Account type

Hi,

What is the purpose of having the different account types in Journal voucher - Invoice journal other than "vendor" , "project"and "fixed assets". 

The questions is about the rest  of the types "General, Customer, Bank"? I haven't see any possible reason to use them in this form.

    Hi Sam,

    The other types can be used for example for transferring amounts to related customer accounts or to record customer payments, etc.

    The invoice journal basically provides you the same flexibility as a GL Journal. That is why you have all of those additional types available even if you do not need them in your company.

    Hi,

    If I want to limit the account types that would need to show on the AP invoice journal, I believe this will be a customization. Unless otherwise any setup options , please let me know.
