Email responses from phone to tracked email

I have CRM 2016 online and Exchange on-prem. If I respond to a tracked email from my phone using the native email app the email is not tracked in CRM. If I reply to a tracked email from Outlook on my laptop is does get tracked (which is what I want to happen).  Is there any way I can get the email sent from my phone to track in CRM?
