Good Morning,

I am stuck at a point in my upgrade project and wanted to seek your help and guidance in that.

I am working on one of my projects for upgrade from AX 4.0 to AX 2012 R2. I have reached till the stage of Preprocess data on live system >> Run live preprocessing scripts. There were 774 jobs scheduled on this form. All went through fine but 2 jobs got failed and 1 remained in waiting state:

1 Desc: live preprocessing: Sales order line  transformation [NZL] Job number: 574 Status: Error

2 Desc: live preprocessing: InventTrans consistency check [DAT] Job number: 9 Status: Error

3 Desc: live preprocessing: Number sequences [DAT] Job number: 774 Status: Waiting

Can you please provide some clue on this on how to get rid of the associated errors and how do I modify and debug these scripts to go ahead? Also, the second question was that if the script purely belong DAT company (Job number 2 and 3), can I bypass that data since DAT company is not required and how (If yes).

    This situation is fairly common, but it also can be fixed rather easily by using the Upgrade Readiness checks found under the Prepare for upgrade section of the upgrade checklist. Running the Upgrade Readiness checks would flag these records as an error, and also offer the ability to Fix them within each company by pressing the Fix button on the bottom half of the Upgrade Readiness Results window. The Fix button will clear the InventRefTransId, InventTransIdReturn or InventTransIdFather field depending on which type of transaction is being evaluated. - Kevin

    But where to find the form which provides this facility to fix these errors. - Vishal

    Alrighty, the job which fixed the data for me can be found in below path:

    Project area: AX40PreUpgradeInventTrans >> Menu items >> CustVendAcConsistencyFix (Correct conflicting account number)

    After running this job/class for both the companies, I received the notification that 66 records have been modified in total.

    I re-run the job: live processing: InventTrans consistency validation and it went through fine and system proceeded to next step to process Number Sequences which is last job in this specific task.

    I will keep on posting my doubts and questions in case I am stuck again.
