How to use CRM to store student Alumni information

(0) ShareShare

Dear all,

I am running CRM2015, see if I can make use of that to store student Alumni information.

So far there are 200 Alumni....

Shall I make each student as a contact?

Let say if my college is college X, set college X as customer, and each student with name and email act as one contact.... don't know if this is the proper way... the operation for such data is to invite Alumni to gathering, update their employment information...etc.

The design of customer contact shouldn't be large as 200, normally there should be 2 or 3 contact for each customer organization, and that is my ques.

    Hi Raylo

Yes there is no reason why you shouldnt use Contact to store student information as it will allow you to leverage on the out of the box behaviour as students behaviour is that of a contact

    Thanks,

So there isn't any 'limit' on the number of contact person within an organization.

    (apart from system resource limit)

Hi Raylo, no there isnt a set limit if your worried about large numbers of contacts. Just remember that when your contacts are added to an account, you will see the activity feeds of any contact activity on the Account Social Pane

    Hi Raylo

In addition to this, you can define relationship between students or alumni by using connection entities.

Below link gives details on this.

As our dept grows, we divided into several sub units.

Ideally, it is better to have student contacts under particular sub units (eg. MBA student under MBA, MSc student under MSc).

So, how to create such a sub unit structure?

Shall I click sales, then account (MBA as an account...etc.) and MBA student as account contact?

    Please help?

CollegePaperWorld is an all in one resource for a wide range of scholarly tasks, including java programming assignment help. Having many scholarly administrations is essential since all students, including programming students, do different tasks, like articles, online tests, and tests. Regardless of the subject or intricacy, CollegePaperWorld will have an answer. You just have to visit their site and request help with Java homework, and a specialist will take it from that point.java programming assignment help
