Hi,

Running on a BC SaaS, with the NA localisation.

I got the error saying "The purchase header does not exist..." after posting a Purchase Invoice or a Purchase credit memo.
This error happens after the posting, which goes properly and succesfully.

Any idea why?

    Hi

Just check the customization if any, Once you posted are you trying not to delete/Modify the Source Order / Invoice.

in Purchase & payable setup we will have a option to enable Archive functionality just disable once and try it

    Thanks

    Hello,
This error generally indicates that the system could not find or access the related Purchase Order or Purchase Header record necessary for completing the posting process.

If there are customizations in the system, custom modifications to the database schema or data structure might lead to missing or incompatible records. You should:

    • Review any custom code, extensions, or reports that interact with Purchase Orders, Invoices, or Credit Memos.

    • Ensure that the logic for linking the Purchase Header is still valid and compatible with the current system version.

    • Check if any database changes (e.g., custom tables, fields) are affecting the Purchase Header, and ensure all necessary records are available and properly linked.

I recommend copying the environment to the Sandbox and debugging the issue there. This will allow you to isolate and identify where the issue is occurring without affecting the live environment.

hope this will help you to solve this problem.
