I actually use the text editor psPad, it's a free download and it's terrific. I work with large data sets in the text editor after I accomplish the mail-merge.

Let me know if I can help!

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

I have always used notepad.exe. This way you do not have to worry about any control codes getting inserted into the macro.

You would edit macros in a text editor or a word processing software. You would not use a spreadsheet program. Open office, etc would be fine for a ext editor.

    Kind regards,
