How to enable the user status that is shown in a new environment but not in our sandbox or production

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Good afternoon all,

I hope someone is able to answer this and it is I trust something basic!

We have a new sandbox environment we are testing some features for PoC. I have noticed wherever a user account is shown the status can be seen based on Teams/Office 365 availability.

Our production environment, however, does not offer this at all. I have asked the web several ways and nothing seems to show/lead to the way to configure this. Our prod & sandbox are both the same version 9.2.21062.00128 2021 release wave 1.

Kindly,

    ,

Pretty sure that's exactly what I said.  Any special reason you wanted to restate it?

    Hi Steve,

Skype for Business (formerly known as Lync) can check user availability from within model-driven apps in Dynamics 365.

Selecting an environment in the Power Platform admin center, and then select Settings > Product > Features. Under Communications review the Skype settings.

In your prod environment, do you have the Skype for Business Presence setting enabled?
