error in "load additional metadata"

Hi Guys,

I have a question, when i click "load additional Metadata" in security tool , I get this view

Are you sure that's all you see? I would expect to see also some kind of error message that describes what went wrong. What you are sharing is just the call stack (which is also important).

Could you check again and share any additional information that you see?

Ok so the error is coming from some display menu item.

Could you debug the process and take a screenshot where we see what is in the "entryPointNode" variable when the error is thrown?

So the error comes from a custom display menu item called A_BackgroundInvoice.

Please check that following properties are set for the menu item:

- ViewUserLicense

- MaintainUserLicense

Most likely you get the error because these properties have not been set for the menu item, and the Security development tool don't know how to handle it. ("AOTGetProperty('ViewUserLicense')" returns something that is unexpected).

If you don't want your custom menu items to cause any additional license requirements for your customer, just set these properties to "Task".

Maybe you have solved big problem for me, I cannot change the ViewUserLicense and MaintainUserlicense for that menu item.

I will found a solution .

This property can't be changed by overlayering. So you must have access to VAR layer to fix it. If you have not developed the VAR layer solution, you should contact the company that has developed it.

Hi All,

Running into similar issue, however it is not with a custom menu item and is happening on standard SYS layer menu items and when I checked they have valid license types associated. I extracted all of the menu items with license types and did not find any goofy ones. Any other suggestions?
