Dear Experts,

I'm currently working on Power BI Reports and most of the reports are built on

General Ledger Entries with Dimensions

Query Object ID 2403

I tried Power BI Dataflows and Power platform Dataflows and even Power BI Desktop to get the data.

I tried some AL code to group the data and it's great as it reduced the 7M rows to only 50K rows but still the same all the time getting Refresh errors, like: Time out, very large dataset & etc.

Error: Refreshing an entity exceeded the 2 hour refresh limit. Request ID: *** Activity ID: ****

could someone help, I also used the preview features:

and changed the Data Intent Access to Read Only

But nothing changed, how to solve this issue?

I have the same question (0)

Hi, If you are using Query, you may have used Web Service.

The following are OData request limits (per environment)

First of all I suggest using APIs, its performance is much higher than Odata.

Also, you can append some filters to your links to reduce the number of fetches, which should improve performance a bit.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
