Dual write mapping filter by company

Hello All,

We wish to exclude certain companies from certain dual write mappings. We are trying to setup a filter on the mappings on the dataverse side that use the msdyn_company.cdm_companycode property to exclude certain companies. That property is available as a column in the mapping itself.
Received an error - The child type in a cast was not an entity type. Casts can only be performed on entity types.

We don't seem to be able to do this. Is this possible? Or are we doing something daft?

Regards,

Paul.

    Hi paul,

This error seems to be caused by a syntax error in the parameter input, please provide the detailed filter statement.

And you can also apply the filter on the F&O side:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../customizing-mappings

    Hello Will,

    Thanks for replying!

    Filter is simple

    (msdyn_company.cdm_companycode ne 'FRANCE')

We are trying to stop data flowing from CE -> F&O so this filter is on the Dataverse side of the mapping.

    Cheers,

    Paul

    Hi partner,

    Did you read this document:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../company-data

    Hello,

Yes, looked at the document. It seems to describe how we are currently setup with CE/F&O. We just don't seem to be able to reference the companycode value in the dataverse filter in DW. (Sorry if I am missing something in that document)

    Cheers,

    Paul.
