Hi
I am trying to tag certain fields with various tags. So i may have 10 fields in an entity tagged with important and 10 tagged as super important and 10 tagged as not important etc. The tags simply groups fields into categories. Is this possible in dynamics? I want to be able to query fields based on tag eventually. So for example i need to find all of the super important fields in this entity for all records etc. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to achieve this?
regards

Hi
You cannot tag an attribute for this purpose.
Field Requirement is the only (similar) feature available OOB.
You can add these attributes in a custom configuration Entity and use it.
Hi,
fields are just fields - you can't "tag" them. You can put them into tabs/sections on the form, and you can label thos tabs/sections accordingly. It won't help with the queries, though.
You can add something in front of the field display names to make it easier to recognize "important" fields (as in.. instead of calling it a "Contact", you might call it a "! Contact"
That will give you a visual indication, at least, so it sort of helps if you wanted to to recognize such fields in the queries.
You can also make fields required/not required/recommended - CRM will be validating those fields on the forms, but it does not help with the queries either
