Inventory Adjustment Bin Location

I am working on setting up warehouse bin locations in SL 2015 CU1. I have setup an inventory item/site and input all default bin locations. Everything seems to work(bringing up the default information from inventory item screen, purchase orders, returns, etc.

But when I try to do an inventory adjustment, it does not automatically bring up this information. I tried on our customized screen and the standard screen with the same results.

Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas of what I missed or is this the standard way it works? Reading the help file says that it should automatically pull this information in from the inventory item/site screen.

I had another engineer try this and they were not able to reproduce your issue.

This is what they did...let me know if this is correct.

* Setup Warehouse Bin Locations (10.340.00) with a Site ID of 200

* Create an Inventory Item (10.250.00) with Default Site ID of 200 and Default Picking Bin of 00

* Create an Adjustment (10.030.00) and as soon as they tab off the Inventory ID the Site ID and Warehouse Bin Location populate with the default values

This seems to be what I have done. But for some reason my adjustment (10.030.00) does not populate with the values. Below screens are on standard customization level to make sure nothing else could affect it.

Are you trying this in SL 2015 CU1?

Do you see anything I have done different than you?

It was tested in SL2015 CU1. I see that your Site ID is "000" which is the Default Site ID so it looks like it is pulling the correct Site ID. What values are not being populated?

No, not for me. The adjustment screen (10.030.00) is showing Bin Location as "1" but inventory items (10.250.00) has a default picking bin of B1

Can you send a screen shot of the Warehouse Bin Location in grid view so I can see if there is another location setup?

I wonder if you don't have B1 set as the Default Location.

Set the bin location default on the site record for the item, then it will work :)
