Return Order Disposition Codes and Inventory Status

Hi Everyone, 

I am using different disposition codes while creating the return orders e.g. 

Credit

Credit Only

Replace and Credit

Replace and Scrap

Return to Customer

Scrap

Can anyone please guide me what happens to the inventory while using the above mentioned disposition codes with example and how i can keep track of the inventory. I basically need the impact of these disposition codes on inventory.
