SOP salesperson ID - commission by Site ID

We have a new situation, in which the Sales commission is based on our Shop (Site ID). In example, for the same Customer, they can purchase items from Site ID = A and also they can purchase from Site ID = B, but then the Sales commission is not by Customer. So, the sales commission is calculated according to the Sites ID. Thus, the Salesperson ID in Customer Master will not be applicable.

How can I achieve this, where the Salesperson ID will be automatically defaulted (inherit) from the Site ID (different shops or warehouse locations) and not depending on the customer ID selected in the SOP transaction.

    William,

    While you're checking out the Ethotech's commission plan, pay particular attention to new feature that lets you pull in commission data from sources outside of Dynamics GP. It seemed promising.

    I too love Ethotech's commission module.

    Hi William.

    Not sure on the full complesixxti of your commissionj stucture but you may want to investigate Advanced Commssion by Ethotech which integrate seamlessyly into GP and can have a very comples commission matrix based on customer, product salesperson or any combination.

    Hi William--

     I do not believe this would be possible in the standard Dynamics GP, without customization.  I will leave it to some of the developers on the forum to comment on the best way to approach that.

     Do the commission amounts need to vary (as well as the salesperson) by site?  If so, you might also check with Ethotech, as they have an advanced commission module. As standard GP defines commission by salesperson, not by other factors.
