I am from client side working as IT Support on D365FO, facing multiple issues in custom security roles, unable to control some privileges.
I've made a duplicate of a specific custom role with new name, also duplicated a custom privilege (to avoid conflict with other users) with new name, removed old custom privilege and added new privilege then edited action menus but there is no change effects.
There is a clickable filed on a custom form which i need to block on some specific roles.
Note: I am not a developer & only have web based UI access of D365FO

Can you provide examples of the changes you made which are not effective? I do assume you assigned the new role to the user and the users does not have the system administrator role assigned.
Can you tell what exactly you define as a "clickable field"?
