ReportWe are currently running AX 2012 R3 in our environment. Some of our users are experiencing an issue when they click any of the buttons in the Dynamics AX Office add-in. They receive the following error:
An error occurred. The data in the workbook and the behavior of any add-ins may not be correct. Consider contacting your system administrator about this problem.
The default configuration is missing or incorrectly configured.
This issue was first noticed when a user tried to generate a Word document from a template in the AX client. The infolog through AX is:
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
The default configuration is missing or incorrectly configured.
This issue is especially hard to nail down because only certain users have the issue. Some people are working without any problems. We have tried reinstalling the add-ins, reinstalling AX, and playing with access levels on the local workstation and in AX. Nothing has been found so far.
I would be very grateful if anyone has seen this or can point me in the right direction.
