Mobile device to show a list of purchase orders for receiving

Hi,

The mobile device menu item "Purchase order item receiving" will need the worker scan or key in the PO number. Scanning is not possible for my client as their vendors do not supply with PO labels. Keying in is very inconvenient and inefficient. Is there an option to view the list of purchase orders pending receipt on the mobile device so that workers can select one from the list?

Any other suggestions to the problem stated?

    Hi Sreehari,

    There are a few standard reports that might be helpful, they can be found under Procurement and Sourcing > Inquiries and reports > Status:

    • Open purchase order lines by delivery date report
    • Open purchase order lines by item report
    • Open purchase order lines by supplier report
    • Open purchase orders report

    I don't believe they come with any barcodes on them for scanning. However, I would imagine adding barcodes to this report would be much easier and lower risk than customising the mobile device itself.

    For example, workers could be given a print out of one of these reports to refer to while they are receiving to identify and scan the purchase order on the mobile device.

    Hello Sreehari,

    There isd hope. This just in!! You will need a environment with at least version 10.0.23 and activate the features:

    -Warehouse app step instructions; and

    -Warehouse Management App detour

    In his article, Vanya start by demonstrationg the result and later goes on to explain how to set it up.  I do not have a 10.0.23 environment so cant test it but it looks very promsing!

    Correction: Spoke too quickly. The new Indirect Mode with Activity Code 'Table Enquiry' is not yet available. Expectations is that it will be out on  version 10.0.27 (mid June 2022).  Until teh new feature is out, you might also be inspired by  this article: axscm.wordpress.com/.../
