My guess is this was VeriFone to told you this? We have heard this before, but its not the case, unless something new has come about since Jan of this year. Furthermore, the integration between PC Charge and RMS is not PCI complaint. Please do not read that to mean either RMS or PC Charge is not complaint on their own, cuz they both are individually. Microsoft has not seen fit to update the PC Charge integration to work with TCP/IP instead of a file based transfer which is not PCI Complaint. Compounding that even more is that Microsoft claims that the newest version of PC Charge will not work with RMS, it does, but its quite a hassle to work because of compliance changes VeriFone HAD to build in for compliance. Again MS has not updated RMS to play nice. End PC Charge Rant.
