Hello, I would like to know how we can add additional Receipt Template Variables which can then be used in the XML for creating customized Receipts.

If what is described in the question above is not possible, would I need to create a new Purchase Order print report. How can I achieve that. Any clues pointing in the right direction will be very much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. The customization guide describes how to use existing template variables, but does not explain how to create new ones.
if you have partnersource or customersource account, there are good instructions in there to customize the receipts.

You can declare variables in xml and use them. You can also use the session variables. What are you trying to do?
Thanks for your reply. What I needed to do was to show ItemType value for each item when the purchase order in printed in the Store Operations Manager. ItemType is present in the POS list of variables but not in the Operations Manager list of variables.
