User Who Entered an In Transit Transfer

Hi,

I'm trying to find out who entered an In Transit Transfer.  I found the SY00700 and the SY30700.  The first is for open/work transactions and the second is for history.

There is a userid field in both tables.  The field in the Work/Open table is mostly blank and in the history table, the user ID is the user who Received the transfer.

Is there any way to see who entered the transfer?

Thanks,

Steve

The UserID is more like a last processing user than user who entered the data.  The TECHID field would be more instructive if by policy the TECH were the user who was responsible for the transactions. The UserID field might be handy, should a TECH dispute responsibility for the Transaction.

    Hi Harry,

Thanks for the reply!  It sounds to me like the User ID field is not the user who entered and there is no field meant specifically entered.  Is that your understanding?

I see we can use the TECH ID field, which is fine, but I just wanted to make sure there is no out of the box field to display user who entered.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Steve,

I think the tables you are referring to are the SVC00700 and SVC30700, which have TECHID and UserID fields. The UserID field in the SVC00700 table will be blank when the transaction is first entered, and updated as statuses change, with the user who changed the status.

Be aware that the SVC00700 and SVC30700 table are header tables, and have corresponding line tables SVC00701 and SVC30701. As the history tables SVC30... contain posted transactions, so they should always have values in the UserID fields.

You can use SQL to create a view of these tables, and report on them with SmartList Builder/Designer and/or SSRS.
