Inventory Class mixed up

Hi All,

We have upgraded from GP 10.0 to GP 2013 R2 and using Manufacturing as well as Project accounting. What we have founded now is most of the inventory class description has been changed into Project Accounting cost category as well as all the accounts in in Item Class Account Setup and Class Account Setup Costing is wiped out. Since we have a copy of the same company we can see all the old class id and accounts in the same database but not sure what will be the route cause of this. Have any of you experienced this if so please share the same.

Thanks for your kind reply. This issue is look like some users made changes to item class ID so we are fixing the ones with problem.

Babu,

Have you tried the upgrade process multiple times? I haven't seen this previously. I would suggest rerunning the upgrade again will help validate whether this is an error during the upgrade or a problem caused by the coexistence of Manufacturing and Project accounting.

In the end, if this is a problem, I would log a technical support incident. If they couldn't get it sorted, I would use macros to fix the problems.
